You're exploring the world of an MMO when you notice an adorable raccoon watching you. You approach it (squealing inwardly at how cute it is). There's no way something that cute could be dangerous! You reach out to pet it... and with one swipe of a little paw, you're dead.

It was over before it even started. just because a monster is cute, doesn't mean it won't kick your butt. In fact, MMO developers seem to find some twisted humor in making powerful monsters look absurdly adorable.

Why? Maybe it's supposed to let our guard down. Or question our role in killing this cute "monster." When we kill an epic, demonic, monstrous looking monster, we might feel some sense of righteousness. But how can we justify harming a cute little critter?

Notes: Don't go near this adorable raccoon unless you're prepared to get a beating. This rotund critter hits hard... and as if that's not enough, he also has the ability to drop a giant raccoon onto your entire party. Approach with caution.

2. Name: Pink Bean

Found in: Maple Story
Level: 180
Notes: Awwww. It's a Pink Bean from another dimension. And also quite possibly the most powerful monster in the game. It has over 2 million HP. And when you defeat it, it cries. Do you feel good about yourself yet?

3. Name: Chu River

Found in: Dream of Mirror Online
Level: 72
Notes: Luckily, this bunny only spawns after you've killed 1,000 rabbits. Unluckily, it spawns along with his buddy Han Border. As far as I can tell, DOMO's level cap is 70. ...This might be a problem.

4. Name: Angeling

Found in: Ragnarok Online
Level: 99
Notes: Hopefully you won't confuse this guy for his level 20 cousin. If you do... well... it's been nice knowing you.

5. Name: Mutant Yetti

Found in: Fly For Fun Online
Level: 79
Notes: This "yetti" looks more like a fat leopard print kitty cat. The way it looks at you with those big inquisitive eyes makes you want to scratch it between the ears. And then collapse as it hits you with its big hammer.
